On Wednesday, May 11, 2011 Rhoda Bell Woodal went home to be with her Lord. Rhoda had been an active member of Hancock AG for close to forty years. She served as Secretary and Treasurer for the Women's Ministries for many years. She had been faithful to the Lord and at every church service until her sickness kept her homebound. Rhoda is survived by her two children: Tommy Woodal and Tammy Reitober of Needmore, PA, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Rhoda's dear husband of forty-two years preceeded her in death in December 2008. Rhoda will be missed by all of us. We can only echo the words of Jesus as she entered heaven that Wednesday morning, "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord." - Pastor Preston
Women’s Ministry invited Tami Stevens to minister this morning in our morning worship service. With her animated style, she kept the congregation laughing as she pushed home each point. “What do people smell when they are around you?” she asked. She emphasized her theme “Quiet Influence” with two points: Christians are to be a “salty influence” and a “solar influence”.
The entire Stevens Family ministered in song. Rich Stevens says they have been doing this for over twenty-five years. They have recorded about fifteen albums. These can be purchased, and more information can be found @ their website www.stevensfamilymusic.com
